Kindergarten Fairy Tale Writing Unit Fantasy Writing

This is a four week fairy tale fantasy unit to help kindergarten writers become confident in creating fairy tales story writing skills with a beginning, middle and end. Kindergarten students will learn how to add a hero and villain to their story, add made up characters and a magical setting. This unit goes through the book making process slowly by allowing students to complete at their own pace. Students will be met where they are developmentally with 3 different book options. The headers at the top of each writing pages allows students to stay organized and for teachers to know at a glance what they are working on.
