It is a technical art form that all actors in training should learn. Over 8 weeks, students will study set-ups and shots, learn how to interpret film scripts, understand the advantages and disadvantages to acting on camera and, most importantly, learn how to use the lens to tell clear stories. Scenes will be taped every week and watched back for critique and improvement. Students will leave the class with a clear and comfortable grasp of how to act on-camera. This course is required for those applying to Advanced.
