Giant California Carpenter Ants (C. ca02)

Shipping: California only. These ants are one of the biggest ants found in the USA! Only limited amount in stock. The Camponotus CA02 ants have a bright orange tail and measure approximately 19 - 22mm in length. They are omnivorous and feed on a variety of food sources, including nectar, fruits, insects, and other small invertebrates. Their nests are usually located in dead wood or in the soil, and they are known to be highly adaptable to different environments.
