Exquisite antique Art Nouveau era French cameo glass perfume bottle by Burgun, Schverer & Cie (B.S. & Cie). Circa 1897-1903. Featuring a slender neck terminating to a bulbous form. Cameo acid etched cut back, composed of clear glass, the interior frosted with milky-opaque finish, the exterior with violet overlay. Wheel etched with stylized bluebell flowers complete with open blossoms, and undulating stems and leaves cut in relief on a mostly martelé ground. The glass is further hand embellished partly in gilt accents. The cameo glass body is marked with hand painted gilt letters B.S. & Cie just above the silver base. Mounted with sterling silver collar and and stepped pedestal foot base. Complete with matching silver stopper. The collar features a repeating pattern of stylized leaves and tendrils wrought in an Art Nouveau manner. The silver stopper, all of one piece, is dome shaped and has a repeating pattern of flowers along its base, its plug is silver, rather than glass.
