Space Thematic UnitOne of my favorite units to teach is Space! It's a great way to use nonfiction text in a high interest way! This thematic unit is packed full of activities that can used during whole group literacy instruction, centers, and science. It blurs the line between literacy, science, social studies, and fun!Included at the end of this pack are two resource pages full of great books and websites (all hyper-linked) that you can utilize while teaching this unit! Here's a peek at what's inside:*Getting Started:-Space KWL-Space Vocabulary- students learn more about important content vocabulary.
