Muscle & Joint Balm

Two days before a family wedding, Marthica's father fell and his face was badly bruised from the injury. Using her knowledge of essential oils and handmade ointments, Marthica carefully prepared a fragrant balm to heal and soothe his skin. A balm is for the personal product purist at heart because it is a liquid carrier oil for essential oils thickened with a wax. Our handcrafted muscle and joint balm was created with specific purpose to ease deep muscle tension, reduce soreness, and lessen the appearance of bruising. We selected Arnica herbal oil as a carrier which is typically used to alleviate sprains, bruises, arthritis, muscle aches and pain with anti-inflammatory therapeutic properties of unrefined Hemp oil. Beeswax acts as a skin barrier and thickening agent to allow for slower topical absorption and portability.
