Beautiful pair of large Empire gold gilt and ebony black mirrors which are elegant statement pieces. The giltwood finish is complemented by a lovely ebony black washed gesso patina,  and the neoclassical embossed motif is a classic French form. A lovely rectangular shape, the surfaces all decorated with gilt-gesso decorations consisting of friezes of foliate scrolls, neoclassical rosettes, and egg and dart moldings, in near perfect condition!
