An extremely elegant French 19th-century Neoclassical mahogany upholstered Récamier. The chaise lounge chair has a stunning carved lion head armrest, and lovely neoclassical green silk wreath upholstery, and is supported by lovely lightly tapered fluted legs with bronze wreath adornments. The straight apron displays a decorative bronze design on each of the three striking sides, showing rich designs of detailed floral and acanthus leaf medallions. Finished on all sides, this beautiful recamier or chaise lounge may sit in the center or side of any room in the home. Found in France outside Paris!
