French Early 19th Century Period Set of Louis XVI Aubusson Tapestry Upholstered Sofa and Two Armchairs: 3 Piece Parlor Suite

A magnificent period French Louis XVI five-piece carved walnut parlor suite richly upholstered in exceptional and rare handwoven Aubusson tapestries. The set includes four armchairs and a sofa or canapé, each finely carved with giltwood detail. The quality of the Aubusson tapestries is wonderful; some minor wear and marks (see photos), commensurate with the age of the pieces. Difficult to find such a set in such good condition and all together! Bought in the South of France. Note: only 2, not 4, armchairs included.
