French Faux Painted Mirror with Original Plate. This is a late 19th century Louis Philippe mirror found in France. The frame of this mirror has a beautiful faux bois painted finish which looks like wood grain, in a rich brown tone rimmed with ebony. The mirror itself does have some spotting, which speaks to the age of the piece, having been crafted circa 1880.
