19th Century French Scale in Walnut with Marble Top From Falcot Freres in Lyon. A wonderful walnut and marble scale, French, circa 1880. The walnut base has mahogany trim for accent. A lightly veined white marble top (has a few stains commensurate with age (see photos) projects slightly over the base with simple walnut trim at the bottom. The scale can be disassembled.
