A Staffordshire Sunderland lusterware porcelain pitcher, depicting on one side "The West View of the Full Bridge Sunderland", with a large ship at full sail, sailing underneath. The top and sides with characteristic Sunderland lustreware pink metallic mottled glaze. Repairs to the handle (reflected in price). Verse: "Be Wise then Christian wile you may, For swiftly time is flying. The thoughtless man who laughs today Tomorrow will be dying." As is: handle repaired - priced accordingly.
