Pair of Antique French Louis XV Fauteuils or Armchairs

This pair of lovely carved antique French Louis XV armchairs with new neutral British upholstery was sculpted from fine walnut, and features exquisitely formed frameworks with subtly arched seatback crowns, gracefully scrolled armrests, and undulating aprons supported by eight carved cabriole legs connected with double-lyre stretchers. The armrest supports and apron are also carved with stylized shell and foliate motifs. This classic French armchair pair provides as much visual appeal as it does comfort!
