Daisy Canopy Repose

In “Daisy Canopy Repose”, I sought to capture a tranquil moment deep within a Pokémon forest. I placed Metapod, with its protective shell, high in a tree, epitomizing the calmness it embodies as it awaits evolution. I’ve always been fascinated by Metapod’s stillness, and this setting felt like the perfect representation of that peace.The forest is a place of refuge and comfort for many Pokémon. As I painted, I imagined the trees reaching skyward, their leaves intertwining to create a protective canopy, providing shade and relief from the day’s warmth. This became the backdrop for Metapod’s reprieve.My palette was drawn from the myriad of greens present in nature. The older, established leaves took on deeper, richer greens, while the young sprouts added brightness and vibrancy. Through this piece, I wanted to convey the beauty of nature’s simplicity and the serenity one can find within its embrace.
