Luminous Virdian Dance

In “Luminous Viridian Dance”, I aimed to capture the tranquil beauty of Butterfree floating gracefully above a calm lake, bathed in the warm light of the setting sun. I’ve always been fascinated by Butterfree’s journey from a simple Caterpie to this delicate winged creature. The transformation is not just physical but represents a sense of freedom and growth.The story between Ash and his Butterfree deeply moved me. Their bond, full of mutual respect and love, inspired me to bring that emotion to the canvas. Ash’s Butterfree leaving the team was a heartfelt episode, and I wanted to encapsulate that feeling of bittersweet parting.I chose iridescent blue and yellow as the dominant colors to evoke the depth of the sky during sunset. The glow on Butterfree’s wings is a feature I’m particularly proud of, highlighting the creature’s gentle elegance. The light reflected on the water emphasizes the harmony between Butterfree and the surrounding nature, a visual testament to the peace of the moment.
