Warm Sunday

In “Warm Sunday”, I aimed to capture the serene aftermath following the rain-soaked ambience of “Trying to Stay Dry”. Set in the Pokémon world, I painted Eevee’s sigh of relief as the sun emerged.Drawing inspiration from Eevee’s incredible adaptability, where it evolves based on its environment and experiences, I pictured it sprawled on the grass, soaking up every ounce of sunlight. The beauty of Eevee lies in its diverse evolutionary paths, but in this piece, I focused on its immediate contentment: a sunbath after the rain.I chose earthy greens to highlight the freshness of the grass, contrasting with the rain from the previous painting. Eevee’s tawny fur stands out in rich browns, basking in its newfound warmth. Lastly, I applied strokes of pale yellow, encapsulating the gentle sun and the tranquility it brought to Eevee’s day.
