Tillandsia Funckiana No. 3 - Air Plant

Tillandsia Funkiana No. 3 has a light green foliage with leaves that spread out. Funkiana are native to Venezuela and grow long as opposed to wide. The typical adult size for a Funkiana is 3 to 6 inches long and up to 1 ½ inches wide depending on which form it is. Funkiana are an unusual type of air plant that has a fitting name. Sometimes they grow in a haphazard sort of way with twists and turn and almost curls. If left alone to mother and when the pups are left in place they will form beautiful clusters. They need regular daily indirect or filtered sunlight (so fine for desks, shelves, bathrooms or bedrooms). A weekly water is all they require - although you can always give them a mist in between if they look a little dry.
