Twelve of those inches are for your tying space held with two slip knots at each end of your strand. You will measure your waist with a measuring tape and put your measurements in the checkout comment section. This way, I can ensure that your strand will be the correct length. If you do not provide your waist size in the comments at checkout, you will be sent the standard strand length at 60 inches.  If you receive your strand and it, unfortunately, is not the correct size, you will be able to return it for an additional restringing fee.
