Brewing Class
Scheduling: After purchasing this class, the instructor will reach out to you via email and schedule a time with you. Because you will be using the shop's espresso machine, we'll need to schedule it outside of shop hours, so we can have full access to it. Generally they are taught around 4pm. Class Length: 1 - 1 1/2 hours Be a barista for a day! This class lays the foundation for brewing at home. We will discuss the basic coffee principles and how to make the perfect coffee at home. What you can learn: Features of correct espresso The four essential factors needed for brewing high quality espresso Proper espresso grinding, dosing, distribution, and tamping Milk steaming, texturing and pouring latte art How to make basic espresso and milk based drinks (espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, latte, cortado, Americano, mocha) The four primary sensory aspects of brewed coffee The three main stages of the brewing process Different brewing methods
