Shades Pendant & Floor lamp

A dimmable pendant lamp which spreads rays oflight in its environment connected by an interlockingsystem. The transparency of the material createsa colour gradient as it approaches the centre andenables the object to blend in with its surroundings.A warm light source permeates the centre of theobject and fully illuminates the pendant. Continuingthe interlocking system, we developed a 3D printedsocket housing unit, which uses the strength of thematerial to connect the acrylic frame to the lightsource. An assembly of acrylic shades rising from the floor withthe use of its construction held in place by severalrings. The lamp is accentuated by a vertical line offluorescent lighting. With an eye for refined detailing,the shaded icon is assembled consisting of no othermaterial then acrylic. With the ability to adjust the lightoutput, rays of light fill the room.
