Strive for perfection in everything you do. Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, design it.”  -Henry Royce His name and his cars bring thoughts of luxury and money but Henry Royce’s real focus was not with either of those but with his obsession for striving for perfection.   Henry Royce, was born on March 27, 1863.  As the youngest of five children, he had to grow up quickly, after his father died when he was 9yrs old.  With only a year of formal school he began delivering newspapers and telegrams to make extra money for the family. In 1884, at just 21yrs old he started F.H. Royce and Company, and like Ferruccio Lamborghini, who originally built Tractors before building cars, Royce began building cranes.   After competition began to slow his crane business, he started thinking about building a car.  He bought a car in 1901, that he felt was not built up to his high standards, and he decided to build three cars in 1904 under the Royce name.   Charl
