Unlike most voodoo dolls, Scrap was never bound to anyone. Instead, he was charmed by a young witch to come to life and live as he wished. Scrap stayed with the witch and they became fast friends, going foraging together in the woods fo potion ingredients and spending the evenings practicing spells and making things. The witch noticed that whenever she left out bits of yarn and little oddments of paper, her friend would gobble them all up!
