Burmese Zen

Artist went to live and work in Burma for a few months. During this time, she studied daily with Buddhist monks. She returned with an old rice sack found outside an ancient monastery. Rice is the only food consumed by monks and can only be eaten if it is gifted and placed in their red rice bowls.
