Puissance

Puissance is French for courage. Inspired by a trip to South Africa with Musician and Activist Alicia Keys and her organization "Keep a child Alive". We were working together on a big YouthAIDS concert called Staying Alive which aired on MTV across 120 countries to raise awareness for HIV AIDS prevention. Before the concert we visited a clinic for pregnant mothers all infected with HIV. As we arrived at the clinic these beautiful very pregnant ladies burst into song all singing "Fallin" which is all about falling in love. The women had so much courage to disclose their status and moreover show so much joy in welcoming us to their world in bringing hope to their new born babies. We were able to provide the clinics with drugs so not to pass on the HIV to their babies.
