Hardcover, First edition, 5 1/2 x 8", 215 pp, dust jacket in good condition with some foxing, minor fading to spine and rubbing, "First Printing" stated on copyright page; printed $4.95 issue price on front flap of dust jacket; Book is blue/gray cloth with silver lettering and red decoration on spine and publisher's name in red letters at spine bottom, light shelf wear to covers, front board is slightly warped and won't lay flat, slight foxing to endpapers and page edges; interior remains tight & clean throughout, very good condition. The author's second book and basis for the film of the same name that starred John Wayne and Kim Darby in 1969, and remade in 2010 starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon.
