Ransom Old Tom Gin
Ransom Spirits: A Legacy of Craftsmanship Founded by Tad Seestedt in 1997, Ransom Spirits began with small-batch grappa, eau de vie, and brandy. By 1999, it expanded into fine wines, followed by grain-based spirits—gin, whiskey, and vodka—in 2007. In 2010, Ransom blended winemaking and distilling expertise to craft its first Dry Vermouth. Located in Oregon's Willamette Valley, Ransom Farms grows organic barley and cultivates vineyards on its 40-acre farm, certified Organic since 2011. The wines reflect varietal authenticity and terroir, sourced from high-elevation, old-vine sites known for their balanced acidity and food-friendly character. Ransom distills spirits in a traditional, direct-fired French alembic pot still, using organic, locally sourced grains, including barley from its farm. Gins feature natural botanicals, many grown in Oregon, yielding complex and aromatic spirits. At Ransom, every product celebrates craftsmanship, terroir, and the joy of gathering to share premium win
