Standing 7 feet tall, he made a significant impact with his defensive prowess and rebounding skills. One of his standout achievements with the Braves was setting an NBA record for blocked shots in a single game, with 17 blocks in a game against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 28, 1973. This record still stands as one of the most impressive defensive performances in NBA history.
