The Saan Sumatra is a single-origin medium dark roast from Indonesia. Rich and bold with a smooth chocolate finish, it is the Founder's Favorite for a reason: I sampled over 30 coffees in the making of this menu, and I kept returning to the sumatra. It has the robust flavor that I was not finding at the grocery store, plus a smokey quality that made it complex and interesting.
