Raised Map of Israel

This is the foam base for making a raised map of Israel.   I have carved the terrain in to a block of foam that can be used as a mold for plaster in making Israel.  This is not intended to be used with out a durable surface coating.  The overall dimension is 23-3/4" x 17-3/4" x 2-1/2"  The map surface is 2" from the highest point to the wooden base.  Not all maps will have the thin layer of foam over the water areas.  If you do have it and want to remove it, it is extremely thin. The last picture is a finished example from another catechist. Please note that the final material may vary slightly from the photo shown, due to changes in how materials are made and variances in the wood.  Although we use a high quality Baltic Birch plywood for most of our materials, all wood will vary in grain, color and may include imperfections that have been patched in construction.  There may be small splintering and edge imperfections.  We recommend finish sanding for all materials.  Even though some
