Lucky Ducks is an Irish company that has been importing ducks since 2010. Crafted from bamboo roots in Indonesia, these ducks play an important part in supporting rural communities as well as using an often discarded resource. Bamboo roots would otherwise be wasted when bamboo is harvested, but they just happen to be the perfect robust, durable and naturally shaped material for duck bodies! The head and legs are crafted from scrap wood, then the ducks are meticulously assembled and sanded by Indonesian artisans. More than just an adorable decor item, Lucky Ducks are a testament to sustainable practices and community support.
