Sixteen competitors participated in the contest. Erich Gottlieb Eliskases captured clear first with a scored of 12 1/2 of 15 two and half points ahead of the shared second place finishers, Georg Kieninger and Paul (Pablo) Michel. Clear fourth was Ludwig Engels with a score of 9. Albert Becker, Kurt Richter and Berthold Koch shared fifth through seventh a half point behind. Anton Kohler and Ludwig Rellstab shared eighth and ninth with scores of 8. Hans Herrmann with a score of 7 captured clear tenth closely followed by Heinrich Reinhardt a half point behind.
