The contestants were Hugo Bruno, Alberto Chocron, Moises Studenetzky, Bernardo Wexler, Mario Pugach, Carlos Kuperman, Alberto Foguelman and Jorge Pelikan. Jiřà (Jorge) Pelikán captured first with 6 points a half point of the second place finisher Mario Pugach. Tied for third through were Bernardo Wexler and Moises Studenetzky with 4.5 points each.
