Blue Bullicante Match Striker

Hand blown glass match striker with distinct coloring and bubbling. Made in Dallas, Texas, each one is unique and may have slight variations. "Bullicante," translating to boiling, technique features a controlled repeating pattern of air bubbles in glass blowing. This technique, while still in wide use, was especially popular with Murano glass artists during the 1950's. Store strike-anywhere matches in the opening, and ignite them on the bottom of the base.  *Match tip color may vary from photo.
