REGION: Western Cape COUNTRY: South Africa GRAPE(S): Sauvignon Blanc BODY: Medium ABV: 13.5% TASTING NOTES: Complex with bright fruits and lots of refreshing citrus characters. Crisp lemon zest and grapefruit pith, layers of minerality and thirst quenching acidity with a green apple finish. WINEMAKING NOTES: Grapes were hand picked at optimum ripeness and left on the lees for 4 months to achieve the creaminess on the palate. PAIRS WELL WITH: Lighter cream sauces, enchiladas, lemony risotto with asparagus and marinated shrimp, lime-marinated salmon.
