Handwritten Indenture on Vellum. London. 13, July 1688. Measures 30.5" wide by 25" tall, written in English and some Latin in brown ink. Nicely scalloped top edge with a large and elaborate flourish of handwriting of the beginning of the first T and the I. Attached is a 5" pendant or 2 narrow sheets of vellum including 2 red wax seals inside that perhaps kept the indenture closed. 74 lines in the document, generally legible. Some discoloration along edges and some age-browning, the usual fold lines. No holes or tears. Circular red wax seal measuring half inch, Generally Good.
