Urban Art: Graffiti Art | Grade K-2

Overview Xeme, Basquiat, Miss Van, Banksy! Street Art or Urban Art has become so much more than a public nuisance. Local artists are often commissioned to paint the large canvases on the sides of building. Graffiti Art puts the local community on display with bold strokes and striking images. Students will view examples of both local and "high art" graffiti before creating their own.
