Winter Silhouettes

Silver & Dendritic Opal Agate Necklace A winter chill is in the air as the first snowfall blankets the earth. Heavy, dark clouds loom above obscuring the sun, leaving the landscape colorless; white snow, gray skies, and the black silhouettes of tree branches are all that remain. This scene, perfectly portrayed in this beautiful, marquise-cut dendritic opal agate, was the wintery inspiration of this necklace. Set above the agate is a silver dome that has been roll-printed with a branch silhouette. The layered setting has cut-outs on the reverse side reveling more branch silhouettes.
