19th century Italian Gothic style fire dogs made of wrought iron. Great craftsmanship typical of the Florentine Renaissance workforce. The andirons have spit hooks to grill food. Large rustic wrought iron andirons styled after Landiers of the 17th century, beautiful legs with nice iron work, a bar of hooks is on the front of the andirons allowing to put a bar for a spit, then on the top they carry a bowl on which the cook could place a kettle or bowl.
