The Desolation of the Sovereign Adventure Arc

 A decade ago, the populace of Windvale stood upon the precipice of starvation as a famine swept through the land. Thus, when a mysterious fey entity known only as the Pumpkin King promised them a decade of prosperity and fortune in exchange for but a tenth of their harvest, the people gladly agreed and swore oaths to bind the deal. Now, however, a decade later the Pumpkin King has returned only to find that the folk of Windvale were fickle with their oath and did not uphold their end of the bargain. One way or another, though, the Pumpkin King will extract his tithe, this time through pain, suffering, and blood.
