She paints bold and colorful oil paintings of that coast so that you can enjoy your summer memories all year round. Her painting journey was kicked into high gear when she discovered daily painting, the practice of regularly creating small paintings in a single sitting. Those paintings taught her a lot about the process. Once she could create a small painting in a few hours, she was enticed outside by the landscape, and especially that of our New England coast. And so she became a plein air painter, one who paints outside from direct observation. As a lover and owner of boats, she finds those particularly fun to paint.
