Obv: A figure of Fame flying, blowing a trumpet, FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE PUBLIC around, 1794 below. Rev: A cypher J E & Co., PAYABLE IN CORK OR DUBLIN around, HALFPENNY below. Edge: Plain. EF. Flan flaw on reverse with typical weak center. Probably as struck on rough flan. A specious token probably manufactured by Skidmore for sale to collectors. No firm of JE & Co. is known to exist. The Cork 1 is very similar but from different dies.
