Uncirculated and Prooflike. Usual die flaw on the obverse extending from the 7 in date. Underlying red. Another product of Wyon and Kempson. South Shield is a seaport at the mouth of the river Tyne and was once known for its coal trade as seen by the inscription on the reverse. Issuer unknown.
