In Irish mythology, the Morrigan is a complex deity. Known as a triple goddess, consisting of three distinct entities: Macha, Badb, and Nemain. Each aspect of the Morrigan represents different aspects of war, fate, and sovereignty. She is known to have a distinct connection to death and the realm of the dead. She has been seen guiding warriors that have passed through the realm safely to the other side. She is known to take shape of a crow some say raven. A dark bird, a sign of impending doom and war.  The Morrigan is a very well known and respected goddess in Celtic mythology. She has the ability along with the understanding of the cycle of life and death.  Candle: Her candle was made to celebrate her as a deity, guide, and mother of our craft.
