This Volcanic Honey Tea GABA Oolong from Tengchong in western Yunnan is a premium, artisanal tea that combines the natural sweetness of wild honey with the rich, smooth flavor and health benefits of GABA Oolong. Grown in the pristine volcanic soils of Tengchong at a high elevation of 2300-2500 m, this tea benefits from the unique altitude and mineral-rich environment, imparting a distinct depth and complexity to its taste. The tea is coated with wild Yunnan honey, added to the tea at the final stage for a gentle sweetness, balancing the tea’s natural floral and slightly roasted notes. The tea’s flavor is of tropical fruit, caramel, flowers, vanilla and baked goods, with a honey sweetness. Each resealable bag contains 50g of tea (one tsp is about 2g).
