Ironing patches on fabrics like nylon, rayon, or rain jacket material can seriously damage the material, patches should be sewn on these fabrics instead. APPLICATION: Apply patch on the fabric in the spot where you would like it to be. Put a layer of thin cotton fabric over the patch and press down with a hot iron (for approx. 20 seconds. Flip the patch over and iron again for another 20 seconds. Double check the patch edges to make sure the glue is sticking to the fabric.
