Metric (straight) thread probes are normally used directly in a kettle wall such as the Boil Kettle, resulting in a weldless installation. Simply punch a hole in your kettle wall and attach using the included stainless steel nut and silicone washer. 2" long probe (measured from the back part of the threads to the probe tip). Includes two layers of sleeving, a stainless steel wire rope with 150lb break strength, and high quality 3:1 ratio heat shrink tubing for ultimate protection.
