Barolo, Brovia 2020

This "basic" Barolo is anything but. It's created from younger vines across the great Brovia crus in both Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga; the 2020 was given an extra year in botte, so that the wine is remarkably well-knit and approachable even in its youth. In vintages like 2020, one need go no further to find a great snapshot of the year, and Brovia's Barolo normale always features admirable restraint and balance. Practicing organic; unfiltered.
