Pauline Collin Béreche Champagne Premier Cru- Ludes, Vieilles Vignes 2019

This is a Blanc de Noirs cuvée of organically-farmed Montagne de Reims 1er Cru Ludes made by Raphaël Bérêche's wife, Pauline (who also happens to be Ulysse Collin's daughter!). Exceedingly rare and incredibly fine! 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 5% of the rare Petit Meslier, a grape renowned for retaining acidity in the warmest of growing seasons. The Pinot Noir element makes this quite a savory Champagne; pair it with yellowtail, rare cooked or sashimi. Disgorged in July, 2024 with zero dosage. Organic.
