We've never been enormous fans of Valpolicella Ripasso, as they often strive to be a sort of mini-Amarone...to a predictably sad result. However, Farina's lively, balanced and captivating Ripasso has excellent structure, admirable length on the palate and a freshness that shows almost no signature of the partially vine-dried fruit at the core. It also happens to be an outrageous value! Sustainable viticulture.
