Here's one of the greatest Alpine wines there is...a dead-ringer for classified growth Bordeaux in most vintages and an absolute marvel of obsessive attention to detail in both vineyard and cellar. 2018 was a cool, classic vintage, featuring explosive aromatics of wrapper leaf, blood orange and raspberry compote. Were this a right bank Bordeaux, the price would easily be double.
